Project Objectives
- To help the coastal areas in Sri Lanka in various manners through this initiative.
- To minimize pollution in the coastal zone and create a cleaner and more pleasant environment.
- We were able to do this by donating 10 plastic dust bins to the MEPA.
- To provide resources to organizations that contribute towards coastal conservation.
- Rubber hand gloves, polysack bags, sanitizer, and masks were donated to MEPA, allowing us to accomplish this objective.
- To create a greener coastline and attract more marine life.
- To help benefit the tourism industry by taking the first step towards creating a more attractive coastline that is essential to the industry.
- By creating a certain level of system where, through the form of multi-colored recycle bins, we can reduce the chances of pollution and harmful plastic entering the coastal areas.
- We were able to accomplish this objective by donating 10 plastic dust bins to the MEPA.
- To help the coastal areas by planting sea plants that would provide stability and reduce wind erosion.
- We accomplished this through the donation of 1000 mangrove plants to the SL Navy.

We organized a donation program to the Marine Environment Protection
Authority. With the presence of,

Donations

One thousand Mangrove plants – To provide stability and reduce wind erosion. These plants were donated to the Sri Lankan Navy.

Rubber hand gloves – To help the workers who clean the coastal area. These were donated to MEPA (Marine Environment Protection Authority).

Dust bin – To create a certain level of system where, through the form of multi-colored recycle bins, we can reduce the chances of pollution and harmful plastic entering the coastal areas. These dust bins were donated to MEPA.

Polysack Bags – These polysack bags were donated to MEPA.

Sanitizer 5L Cans – These were donated to MEPA.
