Project Objectives

  • Make people knowledgeable of Home First Aid and let the users of this app use it as a survival tool.
  • To make an impact on society for a long time by educating people about first aid.
  • It is free of charge to use, and people can access it at any time.
  • The purpose of first aid is to minimize injury and future disability. We want to let people use updated first aid techniques and save lives as First Aiders.
  • To inform people about emergencies such as natural disasters and pandemics.
  • To make people knowledgeable using a newly designed attractive method.

Analysis

The app provides step-by-step instructions on how to provide first aid for almost all types of conditions. It also provides the opportunity for people to learn about various diseases, emergencies and other useful things like making a first aid kit. With this mobile application, we have created a platform for people to gain knowledge about First Aid and Emergencies with just a single click.

First aid Section

First aid section contains steps to follow in each first aid related situation. It covers the following topics such as Allergies, Asthma, Bleeding, Broken Bone, Burns, Choking, Diabetics Emergency, Distress, Head Injury, Heat Stroke, Heart Attack, Hypothermia & Meningitis.

Emergency Section

Emergency section consists of steps to follow (before, during, after) in an emergency situation. It covers following topics such as Chemical Emergencies, Earthquakes, Extreme Heat, Floods, Hazardous Material Incident, Landslides and Debris flow and Pandemics.

Also, the app contains emergency contact numbers. And with just a tap the relevant Emergency Service’s number is dialed in the Dialpad of the phone.

Learn Section

Learn section consists of redirection links to the YouTube videos of Forza Medica Animated Video Series about Non-Communicable Diseases and links to useful websites are also mentioned. It also redirects to the e-Books published by our club, First Aid Handbook and Sports Injuries Handbook.
