The Royal College Red Cross Society held the Eye Donation Campaign in
collaboration with the Sri Lanka Eye Donation Society. This year this
project was conducted as an island-wide project in association with 15
schools and 4 organizations. The Eye donation registration process was
held via online platforms. We have shared the registration links on Social
Media platforms and the donors had to register via these links. The
registration process went throughout for three weeks.
We have proudly continued our legacy for the 4th consecutive year and
held the Vision ’21 Eye Donation Campaign this year. As an important
donor supplier for Sri Lanka Eye Donation Society our vision and mission
of Vision ’21 campaign is to cater a maximum number of registered
donors. This year we succeeded our vision and mission by collecting more
than 4100 donors.
We were able to collect 4148 donors which is largest Eye Donation
Campaign in Royal History breaking the record of 391 donors.
