Project Objectives
- Provide support and assistance to individuals and communities
facing various challenges such as poverty, hunger, health issues,
education and disaster relief.
- Raise awareness about specific social issues and causes.
Advocate for policy changes/social reforms to address those
issues at the systemic level.
- Empower individuals and communities by providing them with
tools, resource, and opportunities to improve wellbeing, build
resilience, develop skills, and achieve self-sufficiency.
- Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of their intervention,
measure outcomes, and ensure outcomes and ensure long term
sustainability of their initiative.
- Giving a chance for the young royalists to enhance the lives of
others during these trying times and educate them about the
importance of community service and social responsibility.
- Setting a good example to our club members and also to the
general public.
- Cultivating Values of Compassion and Empathy by promoting
values such as compassion, empathy, and a sense of social
responsibility among royalists and the wider community.
Project Overview
Phase 1 - Humanity'23

Around Colombo Area
150 Parcels
The Royal College Red Cross Society alongside the Leo Club of Royal
College organized a phase of the project Infusion named Humanity’23
on April 23rd 2023. Food parcels were distributed among the ones in
need in the Colombo Areas. The parcels consisted of local delicacies
such as Kokis, Milk Rice, Sour plantains and etc. The project aims to
promote compassion, solidarity, and social responsibility among
students and volunteers of Royal College.
Phase 2 - Hydrate’23
12th November 2023
Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka
A Community Service project by the Globe Family of Royal College,
aimed at satisfying the needs of the many children who live in and
around Anuradhapura who require purified water due to the high water
pollution. The Royal College Red Cross Society will be installing them on
behalf of the Globe Family.
We used our contacts in Anuradhapura through the Blood Donation
Campaign, we conducted there to find schools in need and to install the
filters in the schools
14 water filters were be donated to 7 schools in Anuradhapura.
Phase 3 - Aram’23

Sri Jinananda Childrens Home, Wellawatte
The Royal College Red Cross Society alongside the Hindu Students
Union is organizing a phase of the project Infusion named Aram’23. We
aim to collect donations from young Royalists and donate it to a
children’s home in Colombo. The project aims to promote compassion,
solidarity, and social responsibility among students and volunteers of
Royal College.
