Our vision for the Royal College First Aid Unit is to establish a culture of proactive care and emergency preparedness within our school community. By equipping our members with essential first aid skills and prompting awareness, we aim to foster an environment where every individual feels confident in their ability to respond to medical emergencies. Our overarching goal is to contribute to a safer, more resilient school community.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to ensure that quality first aid assistance is readily available to anyone in need within the Royal College community. Through regular training, awareness campaigns, and a dedicated team of skilled individuals, we aspire to empower our peers to become effective first responders. By doing so, we intend to create a safer school environment and pave the way for a generation of responsible, caring citizens.
We send students who have received First Aid training from our first First Aid Leadership Training Program out in to the field using various in school and out of school events to practice their skills and gain real world experience on how to act and react in a real life medical emergency.
